The Giants became the first team to clinch a postseason berth just days after sweeping the Cubs at Wrigley Field in Kris Bryant's return to the only MLB stadium he knew as home until a couple months ago. The timing was poignant because it highlighted a question that might influence the Cubs' offseason: Could the 2022 Cubs make like the 2021 Giants?
