David Ross took on the disciplinarian side of his managerial role earlier this week, benching Javy Baez mid-game after the starting shortstop's mental lapse on the basepaths. Brett, Sahadev and Patrick kick off this episode of Onto Waveland discussing Javy's benching and why it was different from situations in which Ross did not bench other players.
The guys then take a look at the farce that has been the first week of the new sticky substance rules, and consider what the Cubs will need to do to have a successful weekend in Los Angeles against the Dodgers.
