La semaine dernière, je vous ai présenté les trois spectacles que nous sommes allées voir. Mardi, le Songe d’une nuit d’été au Théâtre de la Ville, jeudi Castor et Pollux à l’Opéra Garnier et samedi Le procès de Jeanne aux Bouffes du Nord. J’ai trouvé cette semaine rythmée par les spectacles presque magique dans le sens où nous avons vécu trois moments formidables, dans des endroits fantastiques et à un rythme effréné. Cela a rendu notre quotidien comme à distance puisque nous étions concentrés sur ces rendez-vous dans la semaine. Il fallait se mettre dans l’ambiance, s’organiser, mais aussi bien se renseigner sur ce que nous allions voir. www.onethinginafrenchday.com

Hier, nous sommes rentrés à minuit de l’Opéra. C’était une très belle soirée. Mais il est temps maintenant, de nous préparer pour le dernier spectacle de la semaine, en famille cette fois et dans un quartier très différent, celui de la Gare du Nord. www.onethinginafrenchday.com

La semaine est riche en spectacles, après le formidable Songe d’une nuit d’été hier au Théâtre de la Ville, demain, c’est à l’Opéra que nous allons. Nous avons choisi d’aller voir la tragédie lyrique Castor et Pollux de Jean-Philippe Rameau, mise en scène par Peter Sellars. L’orchestre est celui du chef gréco-russe Teodor Currentzis, l’ensemble Utopia. Ces places sont un cadeau que nous avons reçu sous la forme d’une « box », un coffret cadeau pour l’Opéra. Nous avons choisi ce spectacle il y a plusieurs mois déjà. Nous avions le choix entre la programmation de l’Opéra Bastille et celle du Palais Garnier. www.onethinginafrenchday.com

Maintenant, intéressons-nous à la semaine qui vient : une semaine riche en spectacles. Nous sortons mardi soir avec Isabelle et Thierry, jeudi soir, Pietro et moi et samedi soir avec les filles. Lisa avait un devoir de français à rendre dimanche soir. Il s’agissait de choisir un poème parmi ceux du livre IV des Contemplations de Victor Hugo et ensuite d’envoyer un fichier audio de dix minutes dans lequel elle présentait le poème, expliquait son choix, lisait le poème et enfin proposait un parallèle avec un tableau. Tous les poèmes du recueil traitent du même sujet : la disparition de la fille de Victor Hugo, Léopoldine, et combien cette mort le rend triste. Hier, quand nous sommes arrivés dans la forêt de Meudon pour la marche nordique, tout était recouvert d’une fine couche blanche de givre. Chaque pas faisait une sorte de crissement presque comme si nous marchions dans la neige. Il faisait très froid. www.onethinginafrenchday.com

Je sais bien que je vous ai laissés sur votre faim lundi. Effectivement, j’ai rencontré le journaliste Nabil Wakim qui tient le podcast Chaleur humaine. La podcasteuse rencontre le podcasteur. Tout a commencé parce que le 14 décembre 2024, Micaela et moi étions au Festival des idées Chaleur humaine qui se tenait au Théâtre de la Ville. Nous avions réservé nos places depuis bien un mois et nous étions impatientes de découvrir les invités du Festival. Le Festival avait pour thèmes des solutions pratiques pour lutter contre le changement climatique. La présentation annonçait des solutions réalistes et joyeuses et c’était vrai. Je vous laisserai les découvrir en ligne. Nous avons aussi adoré les intermèdes qui ont ponctué ce festival de trois heures : des dessins réalisés sous nos yeux grâce à un écran par l’aquarelliste Morgane Guerry, de la musique et des sketches hilarants et très beaux de la compagnie Zygomatic issus de leur spectacle Climax. À la fin, dans la mezzanine qui surplombe le hall du théâtre, nous avons pu échanger quelques mots avec Nabil Wakim. Micaela lui a parlé de sa formation et moi je lui ai demandé s’il interviendrait sur les ondes de One Thing In A French Day pour montrer comment nous abordions ces sujets en France. — Bien sûr, m’a-t-il répondu. Nous étions en train de marcher dans la boue, dimanche matin, à la marche nordique. Il faisait beaucoup plus froid que ce que j’avais imaginé et heureusement qu’Isabelle avait pu me prêter un bonnet et que j’avais ma paire de gants. Mon interlocuteur est un bavard.
