The more I know, the less I know.
Can you relate to that?
This year marks the end of my 22nd year as an English teacher. I feel like I am just now getting the hang of it.
The more time I spend thinking about what's best for my students, the less certain I feel that I know what that is.
This week I invite you to think along with me.
How do you feel about:
- Homework
- Dress code
- Whole-class novels
- Formal writing
- Deadlines
When you think about what is best for learners, what are the best practices around each of these big ideas?
Yes these are questions about schooling, but I hope you can see the bigger picture as it relates to personal growth, self-improvement, lifelong learning, and getting 1% better every day.
Email me [email protected]
and let me know what you think. I want to hear from you.
As always, thanks for listening!
