Jeff Mans discusses the details of this business deal and why it will have a significant impact on the basic fantasy consumer moving forward. Mans speculates on all of the entities that will rush out to replace the PFF data on the consumer side and what role his company, FantasyGuru, will have in that process. He also comments on all of the NFL rule changes that were agreed upon this week at the spring meetings and discusses the impact replacement referees may have on the game in 2026. Jeff also expresses some thoughts on the first week of the MLB season, including his hot & cold lists of the week. Ep 294One MANS Opinion: Episode 294 – My Girls
EIn one of the most emotional episodes yet on One Mans Opinion, Jeff Mans dives deep into his “secret life” of being a father. His two oldest daughters are moving out of the house and into their own, which has Jeff reflecting on raising two exceptional, high-achieving young ladies. Nobody ever talks about the emotional roller coaster of raising kids into adults who eventually leave the nest, so Mans takes it head-on this week. There is plenty of sports talk here as well, including Mans reaction to the Jaylen Waddle trade and a couple of NFL wide receivers finding new homes for 2026. Jeff gives out his final four teams and some upset specials from his 2026 NCAA Tournament bracket. After a 31-11 run at NBA betting this month, Mans wonders if this is the hottest anybody has ever been at betting on one specific sport? Ep 291One MANS Opinion: Episode 291 – Greatest Super Bowls Ever
ESuper Bowl 60 is in the books, and the Seattle Seahawks are the world champions. Jeff Mans recaps everything from his notepad from this year’s biggest game, including the matchups that Seattle exploited and everything that the Patriots were not prepared to do on Sunday. Mans reviews how all of his bets, pools, and contests went and wonders aloud how he gets so lucky in Super Bowl squares. He also gives out his 3x3 teams (3 AFC & 3 NFC) who are on his short list to appear in next year’s Super Bowl in Los Angeles. Jeff feels that people are being a little too hard on the Patriots after this game, so he created a formula to uncover who the actual best and worst Super Bowl teams of all time were. Where do this year’s Seahawks and Patriots rank on the lists? Do they even make it? You’ll have to tune in to find out. Ep 289One MANS Opinion: Episode 289 – First Look 2026
ESince there is technically no real NFL game this week, Jeff Mans is thinking ahead to the 2026 NFL season. He reveals some of the teams and situations to watch out for and breaks down his first wave of fantasy football positional rankings for next season. There are quite a few surprises in there, including one running back who wasn’t in the top 100 of players in 2025, who Jeff says “could be his number one overall in 2026.” Just because he is looking ahead doesn’t mean that Mans doesn’t have quite a few takeaways from the AFC and NFC Championship Games. The Patriots may have had a nice schedule, but that doesn’t take away the fact that they outsmarted the Broncos when it mattered most. The Seahawks are a well-oiled machine who may have finally figured out their offense 21 weeks into the season. Mans also has comments on some of the new head coaching hires across the NFL and a stunning reaction to Bill Belichick being left out of the Hall of Fame in his first attempt. He also gives a few “first thoughts” about Super Bowl 60 and what both the Patriots and Seahawks need to do to win the big game.
