When you grow that fast you are going to have some "growing pains" and those pains are simply just invitations to expand, grow and develop into a real business owner.So...What does it really take to make the leap and go for it? Honestly no one knows until they actually do it. It's a series of figuring it out over the course of 5 to 10 years and even then do you ever really solve all of the problems?Listen to this episode with Adam...you could honestly learn a lot by adopting TWO of his most consistent mantras:"I don't know but we'll figure it out"And"It is what it is"Both of these thoughts and power statements will empower you to figure things out and accept things so you can take ownership and responsibility for the situation.Action! Episode 34 - Where Could You Be In TWO Years Of Focused Work? with Austin LeFevre
Send a textRecently Glenn ran into Austin at the local gym. The reason this is significant is that Austin, once a local, has moved remote with his family to run his full time job at Brand Makers AND his $10 million dollar real estate portfolio with short term rentals.Yes numbers get thrown around a lot sometimes and I don't know what you think when you hear the $10 million dollar evaluation BUT guess what? Austin picked up his first investment property in early 2020, just 4+ years ago.Glenn had the great opportunity of coaching Austin and has enjoyed watching Austin's success blossom over the years. It has not all been fun and games in fact Austin dives into just bits and pieces of his story...But one message was clear - what if you gave it your all, didn't quit and just did the work for 2 years? This is exactly what Austin's boss at Brand Maker's advised him to do and Austin went out and did it.This is a pattern in Austin's life - just go out and do it. Austin does have a certain set of skills and mindset that he's constantly refining but listen to his story, pick out some nuggets, wisdom and motivations and get out there and do your work.IF you want to learn more or connect with Austin start at instagram - @warriorethoslife - thanks for joining us on the show Austin and we can't wait to see what the next 2 years brings you and everyone else who keeps to the work.
Episode 33 - Unlocking Emotional Awareness in Marriage - The Path to Deep Connection
Send a textIt's no secret - sometimes marriage gets tricky...in fact it seems most of us men have some work to do in deepening our connections with self and wife.In this podcast episode Glenn seeks to balance empathy and practical advice for those men out there whose wife is making requests for you to go deeper than a puddle with her emotionally, mentally and conversationally...I don't know a man out there who doesn't want marriage to go a little easier and better than it is now - who wouldn't.So, Glenn invites all men everywhere to seek to understand your wife's perspective even if you've heard it a million times already. The fact that you've heard it countless times is a sign you might not actually be hearing her...So Glenn's hope is that this episode will help men everywhere be more willing to hear their wife's pleadings and requests as more than nagging. If you've ever said "nothing is ever good enough" to your wife then this is your invitation to pretend that you are the lucky one that your wife is still making requests of you to connect with her - it means she hasn't given up...yet.So, here's a question - what if what your wife is saying is actually right? Well right about what Glenn? Well I don't know but what has she been telling you? What is she requesting of you? What has she been saying? We hope this episode helps you and inspires you and entertains you in your work towards progress in your emotional awareness and marriage relationship.Like always - if you want some hands on ideas and help reach out to Glenn at his website glennlovelace.com and get scheduled. You don't have to be lonely and do this work alone.
Episode 32 - How To Create And Be A "Marriage Millionaire"
Send a textIn this episode Glenn addresses a few of the problems he's seen in marriages through his coaching the past few weeks and then he identifies a few ways to help you create a top 10% Marriage.Obviously comparing marriage to money is a little bit shallow BUT the point is that most would agree they'd like to have success and to some, success is 7 figures plus...this "marriage millionaire" is simply an attempt to provide humor and possible mindset considerations to creating a successful marriage but in a fun or new way.Every marriage is different.Never compare your norm to other relationships and their norms. Do your work with your spouse.Pay close attention to the questions and invitations offered up in this marriage episode and then slow down and do the work by answering the questions. If you dare, then take the next step and have some conversations with your wife - this is what she wants from you.If you struggle with how to deliver these types of conversations or your anxious about how she will receive you then let's address that by doing some additional work together. We hope you enjoy this episode...and like always if Glenn can help you please reach out to him on instagram @ItsYourWingman or my going to his website glennlovelace.com and scheduling a complimentary call to get some coaching and mentoring.
