Na 10 jaar is het strafproces rond Optima begonnen. De zaak draait om grootschalige financiële fraude. Ex-topman Jeroen Piqueur, die er een luxueuze levensstijl op nahield, wordt vervolgd voor o.a. oplichting, witwassen en misbruik van vennootschapsgoederen. Het Openbaar Ministerie eist vijf jaar cel. Naast hem staan nog andere topmanagers van de voormalige bank en verzekeringsmakelaar Optima terecht. Uitspraak op 17 maart.
