Coauthors Dori Beeler, PhD, of the Levine Cancer Institute; Shelley Wang, MD, MPH, of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center; and Viraj A. Master, MD, PhD, of the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, spoke with CancerNetwork® about their review published in the journal ONCOLOGY® titled Cancer-Related Fatigue Outcome Measures in Integrative Oncology: Evidence for Practice and Research Recommendations.
In the article, the authors and their colleagues explored negative impacts, mechanisms, and measurement concerns surrounding cancer-related fatigue. They also proposed strategies for standardization and future directions in the space.
