The FDA’s recent expanded approval of zongertinib marks a significant milestone in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Following the approval, Beth Sandy, Thoracic Oncology Nurse Practitioner at the University of Pennsylvania, sat down to explore its clinical implications, including efficacy data, side effect management, and the potential of having a once-daily oral pill for improving patient experiences.
