Walking away from a CFIT accident is rare, but international Seaplane pilot Benny Senior did so along with all of his passengers and returned to seaplane flying after dealing with the mental challenges associated with a seaplane crash. His story is inspirational to say the least.

After scoring his start as a seaplane pilot he was long waiting for, Benny enjoyed flying Beaver floatplanes in one of Australia's most iconic locations. He upgraded to the Cessna Caravan, the pride of the fleet and continued to build experience until an unfortunate accident involving controlled flight into terrain put a stop to his unique lifestyle. Enduring months of self doubt and emotional hardship, Benny overcame those issues to pursue further employment within the seaplane industry including a stint with an overseas operator, and now enjoys a successful career as an IFR Caravan Pilot. His story is inspirational, powerful and positive.
