Meet author, commentator, historian and playwright Jack Beatty, longtime writer/editor for the Atlantic Magazine and NPR analyst. His latest project is a two-man play entitled, “The Battle Not Begun: Munich 1938.” It’s a look at the dramatic meeting between British Prime Minister Chamberlain and Adolph Hitler that resulted in the famous announcement of “peace in our time.” A year after their peace agreement, Germany launched the second world war.
