Chris Woolf, formerly with  the BBC, is an accomplished international  journalist whose timely and thought provoking book, “ Bumbling Through the Hindu Kush: A Memoir of Fear and Kindness in Afghanistan”  is not only entertaining but  sheds tremendous light on the complex nature of Afghanistan.   In our conversation, Chris shares some terrifying moments dodging minefields and terrorist strongholds.  But he  also reflects on the kind, simple nature of so many Afghan people. He was in-country, offering insight into this violent, mysterious and culturally fascinating  region.
