Show Notes

On today’s episode, Lindsay Czarniak and Lolo Jones speak to 19-year-old American Hannah Roberts about her silver medal-winning performance and the Olympic debut of BMX Freestyle. Hannah shares her path to the sport, her mental process, and her thoughts on pay equity and the disparities between men’s and women’s events in BMX.

We’re then joined by two-time Olympian Kara Goucher and 2012 Olympian Alysia Montaño for a roundtable discussion about the obstacles faced by working mothers who are elite athletes, and the progress the sports industry is making in supporting mothers in their careers.
