Ord, Nebraska, mourns the loss of Sergeant First Class Noah Tietjens, the first soldier killed in Operation Epic Fury. A dedicated Army Reserve member, Tietjens, who grew up in Ord and recently lived in Bellevue, was remembered by fellow soldiers and locals for his commitment and passion. The community has paid tribute with flags, flowers, and ribbons around his parents homes, and more tributes are planned. A GoFundMe has been set up to support his family.
