Show Notes
Join the fight against addiction this Saturday, April 25th, for the DEAs annual Drug Takeback Day! From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., safely dispose of unused prescription meds at partner sites across Omaha. Last year, Omaha alone got rid of ten tons of meds. Since 2010, the nationwide event has collected over twenty million pounds. Drop-offs are happening at Hy-Vees, Walgreens, and local police stations. Cant make it? Find permanent boxes at police spots or pharmacies year-round. Lets keep meds out of the wrong hands, one safe drop at a time.
