Show Notes
Former Nebraska state senator Dan McKeon, accused of misdemeanor public indecency, has avoided trial by joining a diversion program. The program, which includes certain requirements, will result in the charge being dropped entirely. McKeon had initially pleaded no contest but later changed his plea to not guilty. Following the incident, Governor Jim Pillen demanded his resignation, which McKeon provided in January. Fred Meyer has been appointed to fill the District forty-one seat until a special election in November.
