In a heartfelt tribute, students and instructors at Martial Arts International in Bellevue, Nebraska, honored Sergeant Noah Tietjens, known as Mr. Noah, with forty-three sit-ups on what would have been his forty-third birthday. Tietjens, one of six service members killed in Kuwait, was remembered as a humble, family-focused individual. The martial arts community pledged support for his wife and young son, with an education fund established for the child. Tietjens dedication to training and family care was highlighted by friends and fellow martial artists. His remains, along with those of the other fallen soldiers, will arrive at Dover Air Force Base this Saturday.
