Master Sergeant Noah Tietjens, a Bellevue, Nebraska native, was honored with a grand procession upon his return from Kuwait. The route from Eppley Airfield to Forest Lawn Cemetery was lined with American flags and salutes from supporters. Hundreds turned out, including fellow service members and families, to pay respects. The public can still visit Forest Lawn Funeral Home on March twenty-seventh and attend his funeral in Bellevue on March twenty-eighth. These events underscore the communitys deep gratitude for Tietjens service.
