Show Notes
River enthusiasts rejoice! Four new access parks have opened in the Omaha metro, including Elkhorn Crossing, West Maple Road, Platte River Landing, and Graske Crossing. However, these parks may close due to rising water levels. Elkhorn River parks close at four feet or higher, while Platte River Landing closes at seven feet or above. Despite the risk, locals and visitors can enjoy boating, fishing, and paddling. Always check the latest ramp status on the Papio NRD website before planning your trip. Parks operate from six a.m. to ten p.m. daily until November first.
