Elena Melchert talks with Jane Stricker about the Houston Energy Transition Initiave (HETI) which in an initiative of the Greater Houston Partnership. Ms. Stricker discusses how the business environment in Houston is a perfect place to handle all aspects of an Energy Transition because it has the science and engineering talent as well as the industrial base needed to tackle an Energy Transition. There are currently several initiatives going on to develop solutions for the CO2 challenge between business, acedemia and government in Houston as well as community engagement in the Greater Houston area.
