The City of Ames Animal Shelter and Animal Control is a no-kill animal rescue and sheltering agency in Ames, Iowa. It is our privilege to provide excellent service and support to the residents of Ames, both human and furry (or feather, or scaled). We are proud of our success and thanks to our adopters, donors, volunteers, and community partners, we are able to place over 98% of our dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small pets into new homes or return them to their original owners.
