This is the Official Celtic FC Podcast and on this episode Matthew Campbell is joined by Celtic legend, Lubomir Moravčík.
Lubo spent four seasons with the Celts and throughout that time he cemented his reputation as a modern day Celtic great who had an abundance of talent and the ability to swing any match in Celtic’s favour.
Ahead of the Hoops’ Champions League clash with Slovan Bratisla, the former Slovakian internationalist shared his thoughts on how he thinks the match will pan out and revealed who he’ll be supporting on the night.
‘The Gift from God’ also spoke about his remarkable playing career which ranged from playing for his hometown team to pulling on the hoops and playing on the biggest stage in football.
Lubo’s Celtic story began after he was signed by Jozef Venglos in 1998, and the former Celt opens up on his relationship with Dr Jo and shares the story of how the veteran Slovakian manager helped to shape his career from an early age.
He also speaks about how Martin O’Neill helped him to realise a lifelong ambition of playing in the Champions League on a night that is etched in to Celtic folklore as the Bhoys defeated Juventus 4-3 under the lights at Paradise.
