Matt Smith is Director of External Affairs for UK charity Betknowmore and has lived experience of gambling harm with 10 years in continuous recovery.

Matt is part of the senior management team at https://www.betknowmoreuk.org/ building relationships with stakeholders across the gambling sector including work on their communications, policy strategy as well as international development.

His working background was in the broadcast media industry where he spent over a decade working in management for UK radio station talkSPORT heading up major live sports events.
