Stephen Curry to Miss Next Two Games, Warriors Eye Playoff Spot
The Golden State Warriors will be without star guard Stephen Curry for their next two games due to a right knee injury. Curry, who has been dealing with patellofemoral pain syndrome since January, has missed 20 games this season. The team plans to ramp him up with live contact practices soon, with a possible return in the coming weeks.
The Warriors have struggled without Curry, going 6-14 in his absence and dropping seven of their last eight games. They currently sit tenth in the standings, fighting for a play-in spot. Coach Steve Kerr remains optimistic, believing the team can climb into the playoffs if Curry returns to form by April.
In addition to Curry, the Warriors hope to welcome back veteran center Al Horford from a calf strain and guard Moses Moody from a wrist sprain in the coming days. The team will evaluate Currys progress on Tuesday and could see him suit up against the Brooklyn Nets or Washington Wizards in the coming weeks.
