Show Notes
Nancy Woodrum, a 62-year-old hair salon owner from Paso Robles, California, vanished from her home in May 2018. Her daughter, Amanda Peel, grew concerned when Woodrum didnt attend her Bible study group. Investigators found signs of blood and missing bedsheets at the house, and later discovered Woodrums sheets and clothes along a nearby highway. Despite initial suspects, the case remained unsolved until new geofencing technology on cellphones led to Carlo Fuentes Flores, a painting crew member. Flores confessed to assaulting and killing Woodrum, leading police to her remains. He was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life without parole.
