Six U.S. service members tragically lost their lives in a KC-135 refueling plane crash in Iraq. The aircraft, part of Operation Epic Fury, went down during a routine flight, despite being in friendly airspace. The cause of the crash, not enemy or friendly fire, is still under investigation.
