Prophetic stories consist of more than half of the Qur'an. Each story provides us guidance on how to deal with the problems of our life from a different perspective. What can the "first human being" teach us about living in 2023? How is that relevant to our problems, our worries, our questions etc.?

Dr. Ali Mermer has been studying the Qur'an to understand its message and apply it to the present day living conditions for half a century. He has been organizing halaqas at IC for over a decade. He has completed his degrees in Islamic Studies and Political Science and then did a PhD on Sociology of Religion at Durham University, UK.
