The New York Giants laid a literal egg against the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday and have a great opportunity at a get right game against the Arizona Cardinals this week. The Giants are dealing with hamstring injuries to both Darren Waller and Andrew Thomas. There is early speculation that Thomas may sit Sunday's game against the Cardinals to prepare for the short week game against the San Francisco 49ers the following Thursday.
The matchup against a Cardinals team looks like a laugher on paper. The Cardinals feature Josh Dobbs, a career backup QB as their starter is a chance for the Giants defense to step up and win the game in spite of the team's questions on offense.
