With at least 120 people dead and more missing in Central Texas, hopes of locating survivors are dwindling. The search and rescue operation is now shifting to the recovery phase. Kerr County officials said the number of missing also remained unchanged at 161.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on the sidelines of the ASEAN foreign ministers' meeting in Malaysia on Thursday, as Russia continues to intensify its attacks on Ukraine. It was their second in-person meeting.
