Former British ambassador to the U.S. Peter Mandelson has been arrested by London police on suspicion of misconduct in public office on Monday. Mandelson, 72, was fired from the most prestigious posting in Britain's diplomatic service in September, when the depth of his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein started to become clear.
A powerful blizzard dropped more than a foot of snow across parts of the U.S. Northeast on Monday, bringing travel to a near standstill for millions of residents as the treacherous conditions closed roads, shut down train service and forced the cancellation of over 5,000 flights.
