Mayor Karen Bass says the city is under emergency orders that could remain in effect for several days. Meanwhile, the Department of Justice is prosecuting two individuals accused of possessing Molotov cocktails amid the ongoing unrest.
Tech billionaire Elon Musk is stepping back from his recent feud with President Trump. He said on X that he regrets some of his posts about Trump. In a phone interview with the New York Post, Trump responded to Musk’s apology, saying, “I thought it was very nice that he did that.”
