The Pentagon is moving to cut its historical academic ties with Harvard University. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth says the Ivy League school is a hotbed of anti-America activism, highlighting its ties to the Chinese Communist Party and saying it no longer meets the needs of the War Department or its military services.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says the United States has set a deadline for peace negotiations in the Russia–Ukraine war. Zelenskyy says they have until June, adding that Washington is likely to put more pressure on both sides if fighting continues beyond that point.
