Deze week is het 75 jaar geleden dat Brits-Indië onafhankelijk werd. De voormalige kolonie werd opgesplitst in twee landen: India en Pakistan. Tijdens deze opsplitsing kwam er een massale volksverhuizing op gang, die met veel geweld gepaard ging. Correspondent Lisa Dupuy onderzocht hoe dit verleden doorwerkt in het India van vandaag.
