Kleine protesten werden grote demonstraties; het regime sloeg keihard terug en toen volgden de bommen. Het zijn allesbepalende maanden voor de inwoners van Iran. Redacteur Irith Fuks had maandenlang intensief contact met zo’n 20 Iraniërs. Ze hoorde elke dag hun verhalen en voelde de hoop en de wanhoop van het Iraanse volk, want nu is het alles of niets.
