Show Notes

Today's word of the day is 'legend' as in we honor the legendary coach Don Shula following the news today of him dying at the age of 90. Now let's get into Michael Jordan and The Last Dance. Kobe Bryant made an appearance in the documentary and I'm not sure how I felt about his inclusion. Hear me out first. Were you aware before seeing it Sunday night that Jordan shopped himself for a shoe brand? I wasn't. What is the cost of being Jordan fame? How do athletes handle that and their brand? With that fame comes a lot of loneliness. Talking about the infamous “Republicans buy sneakers too.” quote and what we learned from it. Cultural impact of the 1992 Dream Team. So You Wanna Talk To Samson!? Someone asked me about Jordan's gambling from golf to quarter tossing to casinos and how would I have treated Jordan’s Atlantic City trip. MLBeard Challenge Day 48-50: Minnesota, Phoenix, San Antonio. NFL has canceled all international games for the 2020 season. Antonio Brown this weekend posted a picture of himself wearing a Ravens uniform... will the team sign him? #waittosee
