Today’s word of the day is ‘breakthrough’ as in we have a crack in the case as in we can sense something is happening in negotiations between MLB and MLBPA. This past weekend we had news trickle out of a counter offer from the players’ union. We saw what owners wanted. So what could be the hold up? Expanded playoffs? Pitch clocks? CBT? Money? Love?
