MLB commissioner Rob Manfred says 2021 postseason expansion will be different than 2020 (9/23)

Today's word of the day is 'marginalize' as in to treat as insignificant or peripheral as in what MLB commissioner Rob Manfred said about this season's postseason format. Why would he say that? This postseason was expanded to 16 teams, but it won't be like that next season. Manfred said they spoke about 14 teams for a 'regular' year. What about the World Series? Manfred said he wants fans in the stands (0:06). What's happening in the NBA? Not on the court, I'm talking off the court. Adam Silver spoke on Tuesday and said the league likely won't start until January 2021 now. One of the biggest threats to the NBA bubble is not just covid, but also the impact on the mental health of the players. This is why the league cannot afford a bubble again for a full season (13:05).
