Today's word of the day is 'distancing' as in social distancing needs to be taken seriously if we want to combat the coronavirus (:06) ! Let's get you updated on the coronavirus: CDC says no large groups in public for the next 8 weeks (4:55). Here's what it means for sports. MLB isn't starting in April or May, maybe June, probably July (6:10). NBA has handled these things perfectly, but today Adam Silver slipped when the words 'financial damage' leaked (10:49). What the NFL chose to do today was shameful... it was tone deaf... the league should have held off for some time (13:35). Trevor Bauer felt like it was necessary to hold a Sandlot-style game to help 'grow the game' in the middle of a pandemic... why (17:33)? The NFL ratified its CBA over the weekend and the vote was way, way closer than I thought it would be (18:35).
