At the end of 1967, the Magical Mystery Tour came to town, presented by The Beatles as a TV special and novel double EP. In the USA, the six-song EP was turned into an 11-track album. Nowadays it’s become an official Beatles album in the canon. Does this non-Beatles-sanctioned compilation stand up as possibly their best?
