In this episode, Amanda talks to Astrid of Apples & Beavers. Astrid is a pattern designer in Canada and has recently released some adorably fun patterns. They chat about everything from being their own bosses to embracing the challenges of parenting. Astrid was born and raised in Germany but moved to Canada as an adult. It was then that she started seeing quilts in abundance and started falling in love with them. As most small business goes, a passion hobby turned into something more for Astrid.
