Around the 1920s young women and girls were elated to land a high paying job at US Radium Company. Their task would be to paint radium based paint on watch faces to make them glow in the dark. However through this, the girls were unknowingly exposing themselves to lethal amounts of radiation. As their health deteriorated, they faced a relentless battle against a powerful company that refused to take responsibility.
