In 2007, German paraglider, Ewa Wiśnierska, was in Australia for the Paragliding World Championships. She had been competing in a cross country event when she got caught in a terrible storm cloud. This massive cumulonimbus had sucked her straight into the worst thunder and lightning storm her teammates had ever seen, and sent Ewa to heights greater than Mount Everest.
