Show Notes

On this solo episode of the "Noon Hour of Madness and Mayhem," Peaches is filling in for Victor, who is out for the week to help his daughter move to Bellingham, Washington. Peaches starts the show by discussing four men who are rowing a seven-meter boat across the Atlantic Ocean. The men are attempting to set a Guinness World Record for the first unassisted row from the mainland U.S. to the mainland U.K.. The mission is also to raise awareness and money for mental health support for military personnel through the U.K. charity Head Up. Next, Peaches talks about a website called makemydrivefun.com, which suggests quirky stops for road trips. He gives examples of oddities on a road trip from Idaho Falls to Seal Beach, California, such as the world's largest blender in Orem, Utah, and Nursing Home Stonehenge in American Fork, Utah. Peaches also talks about the drama surrounding the syndicated radio show "The Woody Show" and a social media influencer they interviewed. The show wraps up with Peaches discussing 19-year-old NASCAR driver Connor Zilisch, who broke his collarbone while celebrating a race win.
