<p>Paul Verhaeghe is een Belgische hoogleraar klinische psychologie aan de universiteit Gent, daarnaast is hij praktiserend psychoanalyticus. Hij is auteur van verschillende boeken over mens en maatschappij, waaronder Liefde in tijden van eenzaamheid, Identiteit, Autoriteit en Intimiteit. Recent verscheen zijn essay Houd afstand, raak me aan(2020). Nu schrijft hij voor de maand van de filosofie essays met het thema Intieme vreemden.<br /> </p>
