If you're in need of hope, this is the show for you!
As a doctor who treated hundreds of patients with brain injuries, neurosurgeon Dr. Eben Alexander strongly doubted the existence of an afterlife. However, after he contracted E. coli meningitis (which has a 1 in 10,000,000 annual occurence), he ended up in a coma for seven days and had a life changing experience. He came to the conclusion that the brain does not create consciousness and that consciousness survives bodily death.
He is the author of several books stemming from his own near-death experience, including the #1 New York Times Bestseller called, Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon's Journey into the Afterlife.
