On this episode, we have a question for you...does being the most relevant make you the best? For all of us we become prisoners of the moment from time to time, and we’re quick to crown someone the GOAT or the top dog. Old school dudes will tell us back in their day it was tougher, more competitive...and not like it used to be. But the reality is, the current era is the most evolved, most prepared and most skilled. Mainly, because of those that came before them.
For Gil, he points to the next wave as always the most relevant. Things end for every era at some point, so let the next up have their time. The past ones had theirs. It’s an argument that’s never ending, so let’s examine why we have it in the first place. Looking at the cycle of stardom, it all comes down to the window that exists for everyone. So in that time, shine in your window and let your accomplishments live. From there, the next generation will drive things forward.
