In the wake of New England's massive snowstorm, there has been pushback from Boston residents about the city's snow removal response. Points of concern are clearing enough space for street parking and sidewalk snow removal, satisfactory enough for individuals with disabilities or strollers. Boston City Councilor Ed Flynn discussed some of the ideas that Boston City Council has produced as a solution moving forward such as purchasing snow melting machines (a similar practice NYC has adopted) and more. What was your experience with snow removal in your neighborhood, and do you have any ideas for the future to make for a safer, smoother snow cleanup?
