Boston City Councilor Tania Fernandes Anderson was arrested last week on federal public corruption charges and is accused of taking a $7,000 kickback. According to the indictment, Fernandes-Anderson is charged with wire fraud, theft concerning programs receiving federal funds and forfeiture allegations. In the wake of the indictment, Boston City Councilors are exploring the possibility of establishing an ethics committee. Should Councilor Fernandes Anderson resign?
