Show Notes

After much of the airline industry was left struggling in the last month with unpaid TSA agents walking off the job or calling out sick due to the partial government shutdown where Congress could not come to an agreement on a DHS funding bill, some airlines are now taking retaliatory action. Delta Airlines CEO Ed Bastian ripped Congress for creating a “mess” and leaving travelers with hours-long security wait times and TSA agents unpaid for more than a month, saying the airline is now suspending travel perks for members of Congress as a result. Bastian says, “they can stand in line just like everybody else.” Former NH Governor and now President and CEO of Airlines for America, Chris Sununu checked in to discuss!
