• Rep. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., was dealt a blow in the Michigan Senate race this week when the Michigan Farm Bureau’s AgriPac endorsed her Republican opponent, former Rep. Mike Rogers.
• A Democrat from a crucial swing state vowed to support former President Donald Trump in November over his stance on Israel, arguing the endorsement of a pro-Jewish president is critical for the existence of the community.
• Democratic Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania said during an interview at The Atlantic Festival that former President Donald Trump has a “special” bond with voters in his state that deepened after the July 13 assassination attempt.
• The Teamsters -- after decades of supporting Democrats -- decided not to endorse Kamala Harris or anyone else. But on top of that, they also released the results of two polls of their members, an online poll and a phone poll. Both showed the members overwhelmingly supporting former President Donald Trump.
• Ashley Cossins, a candidate running for MO 131st, made a post on social media reprimanding a Republican who didn't accept her literature and "slammed the door in her face."
